Simplicity Pattern Information
Pattern Rating:Easy to sew

I used this Simplicity pattern which includes a variety of tops to make this camisole. The pattern includes this top with gathered bodice and straps, a strapless version, a tank top with ruching, and also a cardigan in two lengths. One is a shrug, one has a bow closure. These are all designed for knits.

I used a wonderful, beefy rayon/poly interlock from FashionFabricClub in chartreuse. I altered for full bust by adding at the sides and lengthening the top pieces. I didn't want that seam to go over the bust but well underneath.

I wanted a camisole to wear under a sheer linen sweater Since the sweater has an irregular hemline which comes up quite high on one side, I didn't want a break in the line underneath. I searched high and low for a camisole the same color as the sweater and couldn't find one. So instead I decided to wear all one color underneath, thus the top and skirt. It looks much better together in person without the glare from the camera flash.

The size range is from 6 to 22 for this pattern. The instructions were fine for the one view I made with serging tips included. I have only made the one top so I can't really say about the other views but it seems to be a good pattern. I recommend it
