Pattern Rating:Difficult, but ended up with good results

I had to do the Chopin Blouse as I am a pianist! It is an interesting garment to put together but takes quite a bit of fussing. I would call it difficult because of the shirring at the cuffs and collar. In fact, in spite of trying to be very careful, I applied the collar inside out. It took a lot of work to get it on and would have been very tricky to remove and reapply. So I studied it for a while and decided to leave it as it was. It is very high, really too high for me. So by folding it over, the shirred side shows on the front and it is not so high. A good example of the sewers mantra "there are no sewing mistakes, only opportunities for creativity"...

I made the small size at the shoulders and neck, tapered to medium at the sides and took extra deep seam at the shoulders to raise the underarm up as it seemed too low for me.

Here are the side and back views.
