Another popular Loes Hinse pattern finds another fan! What an easy and quick skirt to make with professional looking results. I sewed this up in no time, cutting the size closest to my hip measurement. The only alteration I did was to shorten the long part of the skirt by 2 inches since I am only 5'3".

I was especially pleased with the elastic waistband on this project. I have done the same method on Loes Hinse's Cruise pant but used a different elastic. It was a good quality elastic and didn't stretch out but was only 3/4". This time I used the same elastic LH uses which is 1" and is 2:1 stretch that is cuttable to width. It made a much nicer waistband.

I have included in my photo album a picture taken at the Loes Hinse class that I attended at The Sewing Workshop in San Francisco. It was a wonderful class but it was especially fun meeting some fellow PatternReviewers!
