Pattern Rating:I would definitely sew this pattern again

I cut the coat out in size medium because my measurements put me on the high end of that size according to the pattern envelope. I could see fairly quickly as I started putting the coat together that it was going to be way too big so I cut it down to the small. It still looks large on me. I think if I made it from a drapey, flowing fabric the size would be fine. But I used a medium weight linen which is suggested on the pattern. In fact almost all the fabrics suggested are firm (silk noil, med to heavy linen, raw silk, hemp, etc). So if I were to make this again I would use a more fluid fabric.

It goes together quite easily and has a nice, high style look to it. Here is a side view.
